#Gretsch gold sparkle jet pro
This is guitar is from Gretsch's pro lineup NOT the lower end Electromatic model. This finish is no longer available and hard to find. This is sad.Selling my mint condition Gretsch Gold Sparkle Jet. But I am willing to give it a good fight, becasue I have too many good Gretsch memories, and if maybe when they find that the recent older models have higher resale value than the newer models, maybe the message with get through. I do agree with you, the build it and they will come didn't work in the 1950's, 1960's, or 1970's, and it will probably fail again. At least I can clear myself of guilt if things take a tumble back. Maybe putting out videos as public service announcements showing the before and after, may get back to the Company, but may not if they are deafened by their own egos.I can't really judge at this point. I will fill out the warranty card, and provide feedback, and I know that with Joe gone, there is little chance that someone will listen. I am one of the "fools" who pre-ordered a turquoise duo jet, knowing that I would have to work out the engineering glitches, and have already ordered a Compton Bridge, and a BiggsFix. Do I write off Gretsch and have them fall into the bowels of the forgotten again, or do I give an opportunity to other entrepreneurs to come up with fixes. This takes a degree of humility that many do not possess. The case in point is I own a few of your pedals becasue you listen to the customer, and are blessed with a perception of what we want and they are superb. I wish that we could get the correct design that we want. Its like picking apples from low hanging branches.Ĭlick to expand.Tavo, you are correct. The Pdub crowd is a massive market on huge megachurch stages across the globe. its working, because the Worship guitar guys are eating them up, where duesenberg was once a staple. Complete w flatter neck pitch, hence the tension bar bigsby B-5 and B-7, ala Gibson. The point of this gossip column, is that you can complain all you want but Gretsch obviously is going in their intended direction. He and Mike Lewis put Gretsch back on the map IMO, and Joe's name and face better be up front in the history annals of Gretsch. It just really bothered me, and then felt gut punched when Joe's retirement was announced. It to Deed but being there was about family and friends.

so I wore his halitosis diatribe like an uncomfortable dirty shirt the rest of the day. I wanted to throat punch him, but Im not a superhero. W the other brands and offer a more fresh modern approach. I will only share that the braggadocios drivel coming from his face was demeaning toward how the gretsch line was fine for a time with those older gretsch fans who wanted vintage features, but that they were looking to compete Gretsch/Fender hall when I was introduced to a particular operations director who was talking out the side of his mouth when he shouldnt have been, but must have thought we were part of the Eddy's entourage. They had to go into an interview room for a bit so we were standing outside of that room behind the "retired", I was at the NAMM show in the green room/backstage area hanging out w Deed and Duane Eddy.
